VISION
We, the Ignacian Marian Educators of Pilar College of Zamboanga City, Inc. envision an integral and Christian formation by fostering faith, building passion for excellence and producing lifelong learners with a heart for service towards inner and societal transformation for the common good.
MISSION
We commit ourselves to:
1. Form Ignacian Marian Leaders who nurture Faith, build excellence and service in a range of social context;
2. Provide moral, spiritual and religious instruction that is based on the teachings and principles of the Gospel, which center on a deep love of God, a respect for others and selfless service to the community and the environment; and
3. Provide a holistic, educationally focused approach to their physical, mental, emotional, and social development.
Program Objectives:
The Education Program shall endeavor to develop among its students:
1. Christian values and basic concerns affecting education for the welfare of hte society.
2. Mastery of concepts and development of skills and competencies not only in teaching but also in other service-oriented occupations.
3. High achievement standards in teaching and in other related jobs.
4. Ability to utilize available resources through creative innovations.
5. Service to others where and when needed.
6. Love and support for the teaching profession and the learners.
