SCHOLARSHIPS AND DISCOUNTS
Any student may enjoy the discounts offered by Pilar College under the following conditions and requirements:
Five percent (5%):
Granted to all who choose for the whole year/yearly mode of payment.
Fifteen percent (15%):
Granted to the fourth child in the family whose three older siblings are currently enrolled in Pilar College.
Twenty percent (20%):
Granted to the fifth child in the family whose four older siblings are currently enrolled in Pilar College.
Fifty percent (50%):
1. Granted to the old student in Pilar College who finished the previous school year as Second Honors or No. 2 in rank of each grade level.
2. Granted to the incoming grade seven students who graduated as Salutatorian from among the one hundred (100) or more students of the graduating class in his/her school.
3. Granted to any qualified band members of the current school year.
Seventy Five Percent (75%):
Granted to the second child of any tenured employee of Pilar College.
One Hundred Percent (100%):
1. Granted to the old students of Pilar College who finished the previous school year as First Honor or No.1 in rank of each grade level.
2. Granted to the incoming grade seven students who graduated as Valedictorian from among the one hundred (100) or more students of the graduating class in his/her school.
HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
1. Students who belong to the first two ranks in a given semester shall enjoy a corresponding tuition fee discount for the next semester. This scholarship is a per semester basis and for as as the student is able to maintain the grade requirement, to wit:
Programs/Courses (except BSN)
a. First Honors – 100% tuition fee discount: an average of at least 95% with no grade lower than 92% in any subject.
b. Second Honors – 50% tuition fee discount: an average grade of at least 92% with no grade lower than 89% in any subject.
c. Third Honors – no tuition fee discount: an average grade of at least 89% with no grade lower than 85% in any subject.
For BSN:
a. First Honors – 100% tuition fee discount: an average of at least 94% with no grade lower than 91% in any subject.
b. Second Honors – 50% tuition fee discount: an average grade of at least 91% with no grade lower than 88% in any subject.
c. Third Honors – no tuition fee discount: an average grade of at least 88% with no grade lower than 84% in any subject.
2. The average grade is computed regardless if it is a general education or a professional subject.
3. For a student to qualify for the scholarship grant, he/she should have at least 18 units enrolled in a semester.
4. One hundred percent (100%) tuition fee discount for one semester is given to first year students who graduated as Senior High Valedictorians in a class of at least 100 graduating students in their respective schools.
5. Fifty percent (50%) tuition fee discount for one semester in given to first year students who graduated as Senior High Salutatorians in a class of at least 100 graduating students in their respective schools.
6. The school reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship anytime for unsatisfactory conduct, poor scholastic performance or serious violations of school rules and regulations.
7. The Academic Scholarship will be enjoyed by the students on book the next semester.
