PCZC ALUMNI TESTIMONIALS

  • Pilar College holds a special place in my heart. I first set foot in Pilar when I was still 5 years old where both of my parents are working as the school driver and canteen cook. Through my parents, I had the privilege to finish my studies from primary to college education and even got the opportunity to worked as a college secretary for 3 years. The Ignacian-Marian values of faith, excellence, and service guided me to attain what I have achieved right now. Serving others with humility and love is something that I have carried with me since I left Pilar College as shown in my active participation as volunteer in the outreach programs of a Foundation I am part of. I will always be grateful for all the values, knowledge, learnings, friendships, and memories gained throughout the years I spent in my alma mater. Thank you Pilar College. Praised be Jesus and Mary. Now and forever.

  • It was in the year 1972 that I was admitted as Grade VI pupil at Pilar College until I finished my high school education in 1976. The RVM Educational System had equipped me with the knowledge, skills and attitude in preparation to reach higher educational goals in life. It has served as a foundation in developing my leadership potential, positivity, resilience, empowerment, interpersonal skills and the will to reach success with patience and prayers. As inspired by our school hymn that states, “The Pilarists will strive to do whatever’s good and true”, it has been my aspiration to serve my community with utmost sincerity and provide quality service. Hence, I thank the RVM Sisters, our teachers and staff for a job well done in instilling in us positive values as we surpass continuously various challenges in life.

  • There is always that sense of great pride whenever I say that “I am a Pilarist”. It is with gratitude then that I thank Pilar College, especially the supportive teachers for instilling values that prepared me to face the many challenges of life’s ups and downs. And with joy in my heart, I try to keep up in whatever service I can give back to my Alma Mater.

  • Among the best decisions my parents made, was to send me and my sisters to Pilar College for my elementary ang high school education. I treasure the knowledge and values ingrained by our religious sisters and teachers that has molded me the person I am now. Not to mention the piano recitals that were always a challenge. The friendships of my classmates which have evolved to a higher level, almost like family, to this day have withstood the test of time.
