MISSION

The program is committed to producing competent and employable graduates equipped with the competencies needed to execute both operational tasks and management functions in travel and tour services, research and MICE activities, and other emerging tourism industries.

Program Objectives:

The Hospitality Management Program aims to:

1. Equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in tourism management including areas such as hotel and restaurant operations, travel and tours, and events planning manifesting the Ignacian Marian core values.

2. Develop competent, values-driven, and service-oriented professionals by providing the required knowledge, skills, and values that will enable them to become world-class professionals.

3. Cultivate leadership and teamwork skills while fostering collaboration, efficient communication, and the ability to manage a variety of teams while maintaining a strong sense of nationalism in the tourism professionals.

4. Provide students with the technical, practical, and professional training relevant to the different sectors of tourism industry that is required for the development of well-rounded, morally upright tourism professionals.

5. Work in coordination with the government tourism department company, and the industry in pursuit of quality of research and enabling students to embrace technological advancements.

6. Encourage a culture of innovation and adaptability, showing the willing spirit for voluntarism and altruism in response to extension projects, programs, and activities that are beneficial to society and the church.
