Pilar College of Zamboanga City, Inc. continues to expand its international presence through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Universitas Negeri Malang (Indonesia) on July 20, 2026, under the PILOT-HRT (Professional International Learning Opportunities and Training in Hospitality, Restaurants, and Tourism) Program.

 

Signed by Mrs. Ma. Melinda C. Concepcion, LPT, MBA, for Pilar College and Mr. Komang Astina, Program Head of the Tourism Program of Universitas Negeri Malang, the partnership opens new opportunities for student and faculty mobility, collaborative research, academic exchange, and global learning experiences.

 

More than an agreement, this partnership strengthens Pilar College’s commitment to preparing graduates with the global competence, professional excellence, and intercultural perspectives needed to succeed in the international tourism and hospitality industry.
