Establish a center of excellence for Library and Information Science Education to equip individuals with awareness that technology plays an effective role in communication.

MISSION
Create a climate of service in support to teaching, extension and research activities of the academe community.

Program Objectives:
1. Information science, particularly along the use of modern communication technology.
2. Develop an awareness of the effects of technology in the operation of all libraries and information centers.
3. Enhance critical thinking to effectively communicate and skillfully and professionally perform with the use of modern media technology before a varied clientele.
