In the hallowed halls of Mother Ignacia Gymnasium, the PCZC Community gathered as one for our Institutional Eucharistic Mass on Ash Wednesday, marking the sacred dawn of the Lenten Season. Presided by Rev. Fr. Jimmy Francisco, CMF, the celebration began with the poignant Rite of Burning of Blessed Palms — fronds from last year’s Palm Sunday, symbols of Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, were gathered and transformed into the ashes that remind us: “Remember, you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
A profound call to repentance, reflection, and renewal. Special gratitude to our generous sponsors, the Grade School Level and BSN program, for making this spiritual milestone possible.
May this Lent draw us closer to the heart of Jesus.
